O
oh lord, babysitting the drunk girl in the group to the bathroom. She’s really sweet when she is, but she was all over me. I only went because her boyfriend was like, somebody please go with her.
On the tube today, there were some Germans there and one of them said it sounded like they said it sounded or smelled like a hospital. That was what I understood at least. I could hear anything else they said, but I was surprised I knew immediately what they said without even thinking about it.
My professor just told me we’re going to King’s Cross!!!!!!!!!! I can’t wait!
Also, being on Tumblr makes me feel better. I want to come home already, but there’s so much to see. I makes me anxious/annoyed that I have another eight days.
Yay, found some Wi-fi! I’m in a pub in London and its been so cool! Yesterday I was in trafalgar square and went into the national gallery, and today I did a walking tour of London and saw buckingham palace and picadilly circus and all these places.
And we got to go into westminister abbey! That was amazing. I would have had a way better time if my feet didn’t feel like they were...

Okay, well…
I have a small queue set up that will last until Wednesday next week. I’m coming back on the 8th.
Have a happy new year everyone.

Thanks :) I’ll look it up!
Anybody have any really quick book recommendations? Like, what’s your favorite or something? I want something more than Neverwhere and Never Let Me Go to read.

Textbooks in College
Me: Is it okay if I just buy the 7th edition instead of the 8th? It's over $100 cheaper and it would be great if I could save some money.
Professor: No. They added a comma in the new edition, which is utterly essential to your comprehension of the author's content.
Conversation between my best friend and me just now since I'm really nervous about flying for the first time and being away from home for the first time for a week and a half.
Best Friend: Ready for the flight?
Me: I don't know. It still doesn't really feel real. But still butterflies everywhere.
Best Friend: Aw! It is going to be so totally awesome. I am seriously bouncing in my seat for you.
Me: It is going to be fun, but I'm just like, Can't I go without leaving my house? No? Okay.
Best Friend: LOLOLOL! It will be great. Far better than if you brought your house with you. Trust me.
Me: I just thought about that Disney movie Up.
Best Friend: I haven't seen it.
Me: This old guy, like, attaches a lot of balloons to his house and flies the house to Africa so he doesn't have to leave it behind.
Best Friend: LOL! OH! ...Nikki. Don't try it.

I’m really starting to get nervous now.
I haven’t felt this nervous since I got my wisdom teeth out in September, and before that, I haven’t been this way since I was waiting for my college acceptance letter.
At least in September, I had medication to calm me.
I know I’m going to end up crying in the airport. Which is unfortunate.
